The Funeral Portrait release My Future Prediction

The Funeral Portrait release My Future Prediction

On November 6, 2026, The Funeral Portrait released the new song My Future Prediction and a lyric video. The release came out on Better Noise. The band say the full music video will arrive next week. No exact day or director has been named.

It is the band's first new song of 2026. Earlier this year they released the live album Live From Suffocate City, recorded at a sold-out 2025 show at The Masquerade in Atlanta. My Future Prediction stands apart from the September 2024 studio album Greetings From Suffocate City and from the June 2025 deluxe Greetings From Suffocate City – From Beyond The Abyss.

Setlists show the song was already in the arena set with Three Days Grace. The first listed date is October 23 in Biloxi. The band also have a handful of headline shows with Pinknoise, Unwrapped dates in December, and a European run supporting Black Veil Brides after the holidays.

“My Future Prediction is about convincing yourself that a relationship is perfect, even when every warning sign is telling you otherwise. It's about ignoring the red flags, romanticizing the cracks, and building an entire future in your head with someone you already know, deep down, isn't the one. Sometimes we fall in love with the life we imagined more than the person standing in front of us.”
