Eva Under Fire release Starshine after the Five Finger Death Punch tour

On October 23, 2026, Detroit band Eva Under Fire released the new single Starshine and its video. The song is out on Better Noise. No director is named. One line sits in the verse, “In the shadows, I’m a prisoner of my own head,” and the refrain answers, “I’m in the starshine losing time.” Behind the song is a four-month tour with Five Finger Death Punch through arenas and amphitheaters.

“When you’re up at 3 a.m. and can’t sleep because something feels off… that’s the ‘Starshine’.”

“Reflecting on how amazing this tour has been, I felt the song was a really great description of those post-tour blues. We wanted something that would serve as a nod to the tour, the incredible people we met and all our memories made along the way. ‘Starshine’ is like the superpower we discovered being on a massive tour testing ourselves on the biggest stages across the U.S. It’s changed us. It keeps us up at night. Normal life will never feel the same, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.”

The album Villainous came out on July 10, 2026, also on Better Noise. Maria Brink of In This Moment sings on the title track. Starshine is not on that July tracklist. It is a new single after the record. The band released their debut, Love, Drugs & Misery, on the same label in 2022.
