Ill Niño drop Born To Suffer on September 4 — first single with Tommy Roulette

On September 4, Ill Niño release the video for Born To Suffer (Nacido Pa Sufrir). A teaser went up September 1. It is the band’s first studio single with vocalist Tommy Roulette, who joined from Jynx in June 2025 and made his live debut July 3, 2025 at Mercury Music Lounge in Lakewood, Ohio, on a run with Powerman 5000.

The song is not a last-minute surprise. Ill Niño posted a preview on January 16, 2026 and said a video would be shot soon. Dave Chavarri had already promised a clip before the September 2025 Australia dates — that video did not land then. Now there is a date.

Ill Niño’s last full-length was Till Death, La Familia (2014). The IllMortals cycle stalled after Marcos Leal left; Tommy Vext covered vocals on 2024 live dates. Roulette is tracking an eighth studio album with the band. No album date yet. Chavarri has said they are writing this one in the same room, not emailing files across states.

On October 1 they play Aftershock in Sacramento: Discovery Park, Faultline Stage, 2:45 p.m., same day as Primer 55, Ünloco, Coal Chamber, Sevendust, and Killswitch Engage.
